Reviews Tan Yang Jing Zhi Gong Fu - Black Tea A lovely tea indeed. The taste is pure, direct, non-assuming but not bashful either... It is hard to describe in terms of taste, although the scent of the brewed tea is indeed floral. If other teas are a slight rumble in the distance, this tea is the sudden shock of a Zen master striking his staff on the ground. Direct, true, pure.

 Bai Hao Oolong - Oolong TeaVery pleasant taste with a nice aroma. A mildly strong tea, reminiscent more of black teas. Leaves are beautiful.

 Cha Wang Tai Ping - Green Tea This full body green tea has a subtle aroma and lingers with sweet aftertaste. Seller was very thoughtful on the elongated packaging to not damage the tea leaves.

 2007 Menghai Daye Ripe Loose-leaf - Pu-erh TeaSecond time around for me - I enjoyed this pu-er so much. A great morning brew - earthy and rich. Mushroomy overtones. A mellow cup with lots of shu complexity.

Te Ji Pearl Jasmine - Green Tea The pearls are smaller compared to other Pearl Jasmine's I've had but still big in flavor. They tend to unfurl pretty fast.

 Bai Lin Gong Fu Hong Cha - Black TeaExcellent in every regard, very subtle and impossible to misbrew. I prefer this to the pure gold yunnen. Wonderful and worth the high price.

 2005 Xiaguan Jinsi Raw Tuo Cha - Pu-erh TeaXiaguan is always a good pu erh but needs time for aging to get rid of some bitter notes during the first infusions. Very pleasant sweet aftertaste. This one should age well.
