Yunnan Gold Hong Cha - Black TeaDate Added: 10/29/2014 by Linda
Ba Bao Cha - Herbal TeaFantastic. I actually enjoyed this tea brewed, and then cooled. I find that this tea is more appropriate for my guests that do not normally drink tea. Due to its rock sugar, my guests are able to taste the tea. Whereas other teas are to subtle for some tastes.

Te Ji Pearl Jasmine - Green TeaLingering scent, taste and after taste! Big tea bud, and less stem portion! You can find more light green leaf color (younger) than other's after steeped. Very good quality!

Cha Wang Tai Ping - Green TeaThis one really is a tea king--some Tai Ping Hou Kuis I've tried had small, often powdered leaves at the bottom of the bag. Not this one--all the leaves are 2-3 inches long and full of flavor. This tea is really mild but subtly rewarding as well; you just have to tinker a bit with brewing amount/time before you find your favorite combination. It's worth splurging a bit and buying the really nice one, at least to try in comparison.

Te Ji Pearl Jasmine - Green TeaI got a chance to try out this tea myself, the taste was smooth and rich, not to mention, the strong fragrance of jasmine was very lovely. I bought 500 grams of it, I would recommend it.

Huang Jin Gui - Oolong TeaA very crisp flowery oolong tea. Inoffensive and smooth, almost impossible to brew bitter, unless you try to do so. The quality is just above-average, but a good buy for the price to fill in the role of "daily oolong." Recommended.

Tie Luo Han - Oolong TeaThis tea a pleasant smoky taste, but not too much of it. I dont know how they do this, but it seems like the process is legitimate basing on the taste. It goes well with a little honey- I've decided to give up my regular market tea bags with my honey and will use Tie Luo Han instead.

Sichuan Gong Fu Hong Cha - Black TeaFrom start to finish; I smell and taste cocoa and malt. Defiantly a unique flavor in black teas. This tea is highly enjoyable; but not an everyday drink for me. Even better sweetened with milk.

Traditional Tie Guan Yin - Oolong TeaThis Oolong is still as good as ever. I use it every day, and one spoon will last the whole day.

Ting Xi Lan Xiang - Green TeaThis is a pleasant drink with fruity tones on the first infusion. The scent is especially pleasing on the first brew as well. This tea seems to aid digestion well.

Lao Cong Shui Xian - Oolong TeaOne of my favorite Wu Yi rock teas, Lao Cong Shui Xian has become part of my daily tea routine. Its the tea that wakes me up in the morning. Its well worth the price.

Xu Fu Long Ya - Green TeaI probably brewed this session with more leaf than I should due to slight bitterness, but I was able to get a large number of infusions from this, perhaps 6-8. That is very unusual for a green tea. I love the very long and lingering aftertaste.

Bai Mu Dan - White TeaStill a favorite! Wonderful daily-drinking white tea. Good for multiple steeps and very tasty.

Da Hong Pao - Oolong TeaA very nice surprise. This can show well even next to high quality dancong. It loses out in the long haul, but a very nice experience. Not too smoky at all. All elements are very nicely balanced. Not too tannic at all, even after 4 min brews. Nice strong scent but it lacks focus maybe. Good peachy bright fruit, but a little muffled or vague. Maintains is character well for two brews. Third is questionable. We will be ordering more of this tea for sure. A nice tea that also stands well with food. Good and the price is right. Thanks.
